![]() Jeff Dentler, owner of Dentler’s Dog Training, LLC, recently received his certificate in Canine Training & Management from Kutztown University. Susan Bulanda, Certified Animal Behavior Consultant and lead instructor for the program, presented the certificates to those students who completed the 17-course, 120-hour curriculum. Twelve (12) Continuing Education Units (CEUs) representing 120 contact hours are awarded by Kutztown University and recognized by the IAABC (International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants). The program, designed to develop a theoretical foundation for canine training, included such courses as Training Methodologies, Basic Counseling Techniques, Pet First Aid, and Comparative Psychology. A research paper on dog behavior was also a requirement for program completion.
