Cookie loved running around her yard on a long line while we taught her how to Come When Called. She thoroughly enjoyed playing Puppy Ping Pong, Hide-n-Seek, and the other recall games. She was fantastic!
Gracie is a young Boxer who gets easily excited, especially at the door. Today we taught her to Wait at the door so she doesn't pull us out. We also taught her to Stay while we answered the door, and while the kids ran around. She was phenomenal!
Being a Bernese Mountain Dog/Poodle mix, teaching Bentley not to pull when walking is imperative, because at just 24-weeks old he is already a big boy. And with the right harness and a high rate of reinforcement we did just that, even as we walked by another dog. Good job, Bentley!
Cookie was fantastic at learning Drop It and Leave It. Mastering these skills is extremely
important, especially for puppies who love to put everything in their mouths.
Ally was awesome learning how to Wait and Stay, even when her mom went out of the
room! By the end of our session she waited while brother Sammy went through the door
first, then stayed in place while I left. Great job!
Because of digestive issues Watson can't have high value treats, which made Come When Called training a little challenging. So we emphasized our recall games, the Premack
Principle, as well as building a fun and exciting relationship with him so he learns to love to come to us when called.
