Ash was estimated to be 2 years old when she was found as a stray, and we were blessed to have her in our lives for 12 wonderful years.
Ash loved every person she ever met. We loved how kind Ash was. Ash loved every dog. We loved that Ash just wanted to be friends. Ash loved chasing squirrels and bunnies. We loved how Ash was always on the lookout. Ash loved the water. We loved how happy it made Ash. Ash loved Josie. We loved how Ash always wanted to play with her. Ash loved Chase. We loved how Ash tolerated him. Ash loved puppy kindergarten because it meant she would beg for and probably get food from everyone in class. We loved how Ash was the perfect poster pup for positive training. Ash loved working with reactive dogs because that meant she would get ice cream. We loved that Ash was calm, cool, and collected around scared dogs. Ash loved camping. We loved that Ash was ready for any adventure. Ash loved sleeping. We loved that Ash loved sleeping in. Ash loved food. Well, Ash was a Lab, and we loved that, too. Ash loved being read to by first graders. We loved that Ash seemed to know she was helping them. Ash loved visiting at Keystone Villa. We loved how Ash brought back memories of the dogs they had years before. Ash loved the snow. We loved how excited Ash would get. Ash loved to lick. We loved the thousands of kisses Ash gave us over the years. Ash loved car rides. We loved how you didn’t even know Ash was back there. Ash loved to cuddle. We loved how Ash thought she was 20 pounds. Ash loved bringing me a toy every single morning. We loved how happy Ash was to start a new day. Ash loved sleeping in her bed next to ours every single night. We loved that our motorhome has a king bed so Ash could sleep with us. Ash loved lying in the sun, even on the hottest of days. We loved how Ash enjoyed it so. Ash loved us. We loved how Ash loved us. Because that’s what Ash did. |
