Dog Training

Dog training provides the opportunity for getting your new family member started off on the right paw by teaching the skills and providing the experiences needed to interact with people, other dogs, and in new environments. No matter what age you start training your dog, teaching life skills provides the basis for any activity, behavior or job you want your dog to do - from polite greetings when guests arrive, to walking nicely on the leash, to coming when called. Training also builds your mutual bond, enhancing the partnership and enriching the relationship you share.

Our private in-home dog training is fun, easy, and produces results because our fully customized training is designed for and focused on you and your dog, all in the comfort of your own home!

Initial Consultation
For new clients, or new dogs of past clients, our first step is an informative, 90-minute consultation at which we'll discuss the importance of socialization, physical exercise, and mental enrichment to set up your dog for success. We’ll also discuss management solutions to give you some immediate relief from your dog’s jumping, barking, chewing, and more. Then, if needed, we'll put together a custom training plan that targets your needs, and schedule the time to carry it out to create some peace for you and your family.

3-Session Package
For dogs 6 months of age or older, this package is perfect for minor behavior problems including, but not limited to:

  • Counter surfing, leash pulling, barking, begging, etc.

  • Door greetings.

  • Also great for trick training.

​Includes a custom training plan, clicker, homework tip sheets, educational handouts, as well as free email and phone support for the life of your dog. Treat pouch optional.

5-Session Package
For dogs 6 months of age and older:

  • Learn life skills like sit, down, wait, stay, leave it, come when called, and walking with a loose leash.

  • Improve previously learned skills in increasingly distracting environments.

​​Includes a custom training plan, clicker, homework tip sheets, educational handouts, as well as free email and phone support for the life of your dog. Treat pouch optional.

$135 per week paid in advance weekly
or
$625 paid in full in advance (save $50)

All sessions must be used within 3 months of sign-up.

7-Session Package
For dogs 6 months of age and older:

  • Learn life skills like sit, down, wait, stay, leave it, come when called, and walking with a loose leash.

  • Provide experiences needed to interact with people, other dogs, and in new environments.

  • Can includes field trips to places like Home Depot, Lowe's, your veterinarian's office, or a park to socialize and practice manners in public.

Includes a custom training plan, clicker, homework tip sheets, educational handouts, as well as free email and phone support for the life of your dog. Also includes a treat pouch.

$135 per week paid in advance weekly
or
$840 paid in full in advance (save $105)

All sessions must be used within 3 months of sign-up.

Single Sessions
Single sessions are available for clients who have already completed a package but want a refresher session. If you are adding a single session within 30 days of completing your package the price will be prorated to match your package rate if it was paid in full in advance. Please contact us to register.

Payment Policy

  • Payment is required at time of booking to reserve your appointment/sessions.

  • Verbal bookings will be held for 24 hours. If payment is not received within 24 hours that booking may be forfeited.

  • Cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express accepted.​
