Watson had a busy night, learning Wait, Drop It, and Leave It. He did well with them all, especially considering his foster buddy, Harley, was there as a distraction. Speaking of Harley, he hid from me during our consultation. Tonight, just the third time seeing me, he allowed me to pet him. The power of positive reinforcement!
Bella absolutely LOVED playing her newly learned recall games. We had her racing all over
the house, learning that Come When Called is simply the GREATEST!
Snowball did really well learning how to walk without pulling. She gets really excited when
she approaches the end of the driveway because that means she is going for a walk, but today we used a high rate of reinforcement to keep her focus on us and, thus, she didn't pull.
Today, Fred learned how to Wait and Stay. Now we can use these skills to prevent him from chasing the cats and running out of the door. He did such a great job.
